About

Building the launch and return hubof the Indo-Pacific.

Space Angel Group is the Australian-owned operator of Australis Spaceports, sovereign dual-corridor launch, re-entry and range infrastructure spanning the Nullarbor and the Indian Ocean Territories.

[ The Story ]

The world is building rockets faster than places to fly from. Almost no one is building places to come home to. Space Angel was founded in Perth to close that gap.

The Origin

From a stretch of empty Nullarbor, a launch and return hub.

The answer was geography. A flat, near-empty, sovereign corridor on the Nullarbor with sealed runways and rail through the site. An equatorial island territory in the Indian Ocean. One national jurisdiction covering both.

From that footprint, Space Angel is building Australis Spaceports: launch and return for every orbit, and the inland range allied test programs are searching for. Commercial missions drive the infrastructure, and allied defence programs access it on surge, one range, higher utilisation, shared benefit.

How We Build

Sustainable, sovereign, and shared from day one.

Impact.

Low-environmental-impact infrastructure, renewable energy integration and rigorous environmental pathways at both sites.

Sovereign.

Australian-owned, Australian-controlled: ground, tracking, telemetry and communications retained under sovereign control.

First Nations.

Building with Traditional Owners, not around them.

Community.

Regional jobs, STEM engagement and a space academy pathway that brings the industry to Western Australia's next generation.

Aligned.

Named in the WA Space Strategy 2024-30, progressing Australian Space Agency licensing, engaged with the Department of Defence.

Allied.

AUKUS Pillar II aligned inside the Five Eyes framework, with TSA-compatible custody built into the platform.

[ Impact ]

Impact.

Lean infrastructure, renewable generation and storage from day one, cleaner fuels, and full Commonwealth and State environmental assessment at both corridors.

At Australis Polar we work with Traditional Owners on land, water, fire, air and sky. At Australis Equatorial we work with the island's community and its heritage. Every measure has to stand up commercially as well as environmentally, that is what makes it last.
